UNPAK is an art pak extractor. In other words, it can extract the files from the Art Paks (.PAK files) provided with GemStone III, DragonRealms and other Simutronics games. Art Paks generally contain layout files (.LAY, contained in GS-0.PAK, DR-0.PAK, etc.), game music (.MID, contained in GS-1.PAK), and images (.JPG, contained in most everything else). To my knowledge, no other files are contained in the art pak files, but I may be mistaken and it's possible that Simutronics may add them in the future. This is the first public version of UNPAK. Most of the time I've had so far has been spent on figuring out how the art paks work and writing code to view/extract them. As a result, there is no graphical user interface yet -- everything works via the command line at a DOS prompt.
