Log File Cleaner

This handy dandy utility can clean log files and optionally convert them to HTML or a format postable on the message boards. At this time only GS logs are supported -- DR, HX and MO logs may be added in the future.

Note that due to limitations in the Wizard's logging, this cannot differentiate between text typed by you. It is advised that you turn "Echo Commands Locally" off in Configuration/Options if you intend to run logs through this program. If you don't, you will still need to do a small amount of editing either before or after you run logs through this utility.

For best editing of HTML and BBS-postable logs, it is advised that you do your cleaning in three steps:

  1. Run your ORIGINAL log through this utility, converting to text format.
  2. Hand-edit the output and make any other changes you intend to make.
  3. Re-run your saved changes through the utility, converting to HTML/BBS format.

The prompt (">", "!sR>") (Note: Typed commands will still show even if this is unchecked.)

Please be patient! It will take some time for your log to be uploaded, processed, and sent back to you.
